Burnley vs Wolves prediction
These two sides have had dire seasons, Wolves sit rock bottom of the Premier League with just 19 points after three wins and ten draws.
They do however, get the chance to leapfrog Burnley having long been in 20th position, as the Clarets are just two points above now.
That will be enough of something to aim for to bolster the squads into putting something into this game having had some terrible results and confirmed relegation for quite some time.
Burnley are favourites having won just four this season – which were against: Sunderland (2-0 in August 2025), Leeds United (2-0 in October 2025), Crystal Palace (2-3 February 2026) and Brighton (2-0 April 2026).
Three of the wins were at home winning with a clean sheet and this could be the way it goes given Wolves poor scoring form.

Burnley vs Wolves betting tips
The home advantage
Each Burnley win has been spread out across the months of the season whereas Wolves have won just three, but all came in 2026 between January 3 and March 3.
Wolves beat West Ham, Aston Villa and Liverpool, all at home and have really struggled away from home this season.
Burnley have also won three at home but also beat Palace away from home which just gives them that edge.
Wolves fans have been frustrated at the lack of creativity and attacking ability whereas Burnley have shown signs of better in recent weeks putting up good defensive efforts in some big clashes.
Limited goalscorers?
You’d think with two teams rock bottom of the Premier League it would be difficult to find a potential goalscorer.
But with backing Burnley to win, Zian Flemming looks a solid choice to be amongst the goals to be one of or at least the only goalscorer in this final league game of the season.
The forward has netted ten goals from just 20 starts even netting three in the last seven starts.
For much of the start of the season he rarely got game time, with just 32 minutes played in the first seven league games.
He was also absent in the middle of the season playing just 2 minutes in the span of six successive games before slowly being reintroduced to the team and starting regularly.

Important historical facts about Burnley vs Wolves for betting
- Burnley have lost just one of their last 10 Premier League games against Wolves (W5 D4), and are looking for their second double against them in the competition, after 2020-21.
- Wolves are winless in their last five Premier League away games against Burnley (D2 L3) since a 2-1 victory in March 2010.
- This is just the second final day game in Premier League history between two sides already relegated, after a goalless draw between Coventry City and Bradford City in 2000-01.
- Burnley have lost their final match of the season in each of their last seven Premier League campaigns – only Wolves (8 between 2010-11 and 2023-24) have had a longer run in the competition.
- Wolves have won their final Premier League match in just one of their 11 seasons in the competition (D1 L9), beating Sunderland 2-1 at Molineux in 2009-10.
- Burnley are winless in their last 14 Premier League home games (D5 L9) since a 2-0 win against Leeds in October. Only four teams have had longer runs within the same season in the competition – Sunderland in 2005-06 (18), Nottingham Forest in 1998-99 (16), Derby in 2007-08 (16) and Crystal Palace in 1997-98 (15).

- Wolves are one of only two sides in Europe’s big five leagues this season without an away league win (also Pisa in Serie A). Wolves could become only the seventh side to fail to win a single away game in a Premier League season, and first since Hull City in 2009-10.
- Wolves have been bottom of the table since August 31st (266 consecutive days coming into this match) and overall have been at the foot of the Premier League for 272 days this season. It’s both the most consecutive days and most days overall a side has been bottom in a single Premier League campaign, yet a victory would see them go ahead of Burnley to finish 19th.
- Only Wolves (19) have failed to score in more different Premier League games than Burnley (14) this season, with the Clarets also having the fewest shots (339), fewest shots on target (110) and lowest xG (31.5) this term.
