But Flores was fired up to try and cause an upset and halt the hype train on the big bill.

The pair met in a barnstorming undercard clash on the main card of the WBA and WBO cruiserweight world title clash between Gilberto Ramirez and David Benavidez.

It was the Argentinian who lit up the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

He put out a simply remarkable output throwing a mammoth amount of punches to leave Lucero stunned.

Lucero simply had no answer and was beaten soundly on the judges’ scorecards by unanimous decision.

The totals reflected his dominance at 98-92, 98-92, 99-91 all in his favour.

And he celebrated with huge joy in an FC Barcelona shirt with ‘El Terrible’ printed on the back.

But it was the final Compubox statistics that caught the eye.
