Bayer Leverkusen vs Bayern Munich predictions and betting tips – Bavarians to march on
Bayern Munich are closing in on the Bundesliga title. An 11-point lead over Borussia Dortmund in second place makes Vincent Kompany’s side odds-on favourites to lift the trophy.
Bayer Leverkusen knocked Bayern off top spot a couple of years ago, but they are not in contention this time around. Can they surprise the champions on Saturday?

Bayer Leverkusen vs Bayern Munich predictions
Bayern Munich are almost there. An 11-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga table means they are unlikely to be caught with nine rounds of fixtures remaining.
Six more wins would guarantee Bayern the title, although they will not need that many unless Borussia Dortmund are triumphant in 100 percent of their remaining matches.
Realistically, four victories in their last nine matches would probably be enough for Vincent Kompany’s team to be crowned champions for the second season in a row.
Of course, the Bundesliga alone is not enough to sate appetites at the Allianz Arena. Bayern are also targeting glory on the continental stage.
A 6-1 thumping of Atalanta in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie was a statement of intent from the German giants.
Sure, Atalanta are not a European powerhouse, but winning so comprehensively away from home was hugely impressive from Kompany’s crew.
Bayern were 3-0 up by half-time in Bergamo. Midway through the second period, they led 6-0. The emphatic nature of their victory showed it is not just Bundesliga opponents that Bayern are capable of crushing.
The scoreline in Italy was, indirectly, bad news for Bayer Leverkusen. Had Bayern lost, drawn or even won narrowly in the first leg against Atalanta, they would have made the return fixture their priority ahead of Saturday’s trip to the BayArena.
As it is, Bayern already have one foot in the quarter-finals, so there is no need for them to hold players back for Atalanta’s visit to Munich next week.
If anything, Leverkusen are more likely to be distracted by the Champions League. They drew 1-1 with Arsenal in the first leg of their last-16 tie, and although the Premier League leaders are clear favourites to get the job done at the Emirates Stadium, Leverkusen are not out of it yet.
At the same time, Kasper Hjulmand’s side do not have the luxury of being able to dedicate their full attention to the Champions League because they are locked in a battle to qualify for next season’s edition of the tournament.
Leverkusen are currently sixth in the standings, three points behind Stuttgart in fourth. There is still considerable work to do for Hjulmand and co. as they seek a seat at Europe’s top table in 2026/27.
Bayer Leverkusen vs Bayern Munich betting tips
Bayern Munich resume their Bundesliga title tilt against Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday.
Bayern to win again
Bayern Munich are not the sort of team to take their foot off the gas even though they hold a substantial lead in the title race.
Kompany’s side have shown no signs of slowing down in the Bundesliga and they should prove too strong for Bayer Leverkusen here.
Leverkusen have been hamstrung by inconsistency of late, winning just one of their last four matches to lose ground in the fight for the top four.
Along with a Bayern victory, over 2.5 goals looks like a no-brainer – that wager has paid out in 100 percent of their Bundesliga matches up to now.

Bayern to start quickly
Bayern Munich made a rapid start to Tuesday’s meeting with Atalanta and they will aim to do the same here.
Somewhat surprisingly, Bayern have not been the Bundesliga’s top performers from minutes one to 45 this term. That honour belongs to Borussia Dortmund.
But Bayern will show their class from the first whistle at the BayArena. Kompany will instruct his players to go full pelt from the get-go and they should be rewarded with a half-time lead.
Bayer Leverkusen are one of the Bundesliga’s better sides, but even they will struggle to stick with Bayern until the interval.

Kane to shine again
Harry Kane was left out of Bayern Munich’s starting XI against Atalanta as he continues his recovery from a calf injury.
Although Kane did not get on the pitch at all on Tuesday, that was because Bayern did not need him as opposed to any lingering concerns about his fitness.
Kane should be back in the starting line-up this weekend, and Bayer Leverkusen will have spent the week preparing to face him.
The England captain has scored a brace in four of his last five outings in all competitions, so this bet represents excellent value.
