Baltimore Ravens vs Cincinnati Bengals odds, predictions, and betting tips – The return of Joe Burrow
To close out the Thanksgiving Day slate on Thursday, the 6-5 Baltimore Ravens are hosting the 3-8 Cincinnati Bengals. The Ravens are coming off a win over the New York Jets, while the Bengals lost to the New England Patriots.
Now, let’s check out this Friday’s early morning edition of the NFL in more detail below.
Ravens vs Bengals best bets
- Mark Andrews Anytime TD – 13/10 with Paddy Power
- Ja’Marr Chase Anytime TD – 10/11 with Paddy Power
- Derrick Henry First TD Scorer – 4/1 with Paddy Power
The Ravens have now won five straight games, beating the Chicago Bears, Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings, Cleveland Browns, and Jets.
They got quarterback Lamar Jackson back for the Miami game and haven’t scored fewer than 23 points in a game since. However, Jackson has continued to deal with injuries.
He suffered a knee injury in Week 11, an ankle injury in Week 12, and a toe injury this past week. It’s unclear if he’ll play after he was listed as a non-participant on Monday’s practice estimate.
As for the Bengals, they’re in position to get their own quarterback back in Joe Burrow.
In his nine-game absence, the Bengals are 1-8, so getting him back would be crucial to giving them even a shred of hope of winning out, going 9-8, and getting a playoff spot. He was listed as a full participant in Monday’s practice estimate.

Ravens vs Bengals preview
The Bengals are 7-point underdogs heading into this game, and while I think the Ravens will win, I’ll take the points. Jackson is dealing with a plethora of injuries, and if he plays, I question how effective he’ll be as a runner.
While he can more than hold his own as a passer, I expect Burrow, off the extended break, to have a great game against a beatable Ravens defence that’s allowing 23.7 points per game (19th) and 231.6 passing yards per game (24th).
The Ravens mostly play Cover-1 and Cover-3, and against those defences, dating back to last season, Burrow completed 68% of his passes for 2,389 yards, 18 touchdowns, and 7 interceptions.
Again, the Ravens likely win because the Bengals’ defence is so bad (they’re the only team allowing more than 387 yards per game at 415.8), but Burrow will keep it within seven.

Spread Odds Cincinnati Bengals +7 22/25 Baltimore Ravens +7 23/25 Total points Odds Over 51 22/25 Under 51 10/11
I’m somewhat surprised at the spread here of seven points, given that Burrow is likely back, but considering he hasn’t been named the starter, it makes sense. That said, the Bengals’ defence really is that bad, so perhaps even having Burrow in the lineup may be tough to make up for it.
Mark Andrews anytime TD
Andrews heads into this game against a Bengals defence that allows more touchdowns to tight ends than any other team. The Bengals are allowing 6.91 receptions for 87.45 yards and 1.18 touchdowns per game to them.
They’ve allowed at least one touchdown to tight ends in all but four games, including in six of his last seven games.
Over their last three, they’re allowed three.
Andrews hasn’t scored in the last two games, but scored in each of the two games before that.
He’s in an excellent spot here.
Back Mark Andrews to score a touch down against the Bengals at 13/10 with Paddy Power
Ja’Marr Chase anytime TD
While Burrow hasn’t been on the field much this season, in the games he has, Chase has seen a 28.6% target share, which leads the team. That equated to six catches on 10 targets for 63 yards and a touchdown.
Now, heading into Week 13, fellow wide receiver Tee Higgins has been ruled out with a concussion.
Dating back to last season, in cases where Higgins wasn’t on the field, Chase led the team in targets with 68, and the next closest player, tight end Mike Gesicki, saw 43.
He’ll be peppered with targets.
Back Ja’Marr Chase to score a touchdown against the Ravens at 10/11 with Paddy Power
Derrick Henry first TD scorer
Finally, I like Henry as the first touchdown scorer in this game. This season, Henry has scored the Ravens’ first touchdown six times.
In all, he’s scored nine times this year, including three times over the last two games.
The Bengals are allowing a league-high 131.09 rushing yards per game, which comes on 25.55 attempts. Additionally, backs are averaging 5.13 yards per carry and 0.82 touchdowns per game.
They’ve allowed five touchdowns to the position over the last four games, including three rushing and two receiving.
Back Derrick Henry to score a touchdown against the Bengals at 4/1 with Paddy Power
