The Yankees have announced their starting pitchers for their American League Wild Card Series matchup against the rival Red Sox -- and it's a loaded group.
AL Cy Young favorite Cam Schlittler received the nod for Tuesday's Game 1, followed by Max Fried on Wednesday for Game 2. If the teams split the first two games at Yankee Stadium, Gerrit Cole will get the nod in a winner-take-all Game 3 on Thursday.

New York had considered starting the lefty Fried in Game 1, setting up Schlittler for two starts if they were to advance to the AL Division Series. But they ultimately opted for their strongest pitcher to start off the postseason, as Schlittler recorded a 1.95 ERA this season, the third-lowest mark in franchise history.
