New York Yankees outfielder Spencer Jones has been battling left foot soreness. The good news, however, is the outfielder doesn't believe it's going to be a problem moving forward despite not being in Saturday's lineup against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

“It’s no big deal,” Jones said, via Greg Joyce of New York Post Sports.

The Yankees lost Aaron Judge to the injured list on Saturday. The hope is that Judge will be able to return for the postseason, but an official return timeline has yet to be revealed. Losing Jones to injury as well would deal the team another brutal blow ahead of the playoffs, but it does seem as if Jones will be alright.

This will be a situation to monitor, though.

Jones, who was one of the more intriguing prospects in the sport heading into the season, has hit .248/.318/.433 across 80 games played so far during the '26 campaign. He has 10 home runs, 12 doubles and nine stolen bases as well.

Jones has certainly made a significant impact in the games he's played. The Yankees are obviously hoping he can perform well down the stretch and in the playoffs.

Overall, this Yankees ball club holds an 89-64 record. New York is in second place in the American League East standings, as the ball club trails the Tampa Bay Rays by four games heading into Saturday's matchup. The Yankees do currently lead the AL Wild Card. New York also leads its series with Arizona 1-0 after earning a 9-2 win on Friday.

Saturday night's game is scheduled for 8:10 PM ET in Arizona.
