The New York Knicks abruptly parted ways with veteran wing John Konchar on Wednesday, just 15 days after agreeing to a one-year training-camp deal.
New York officially waived Konchar and center N’Faly Dante after opening camp with a 21-man roster. The team did not provide a reason for either move. SNY’s Ian Begley later took to his X, formerly Twitter, highlighting that the veteran guard had been away from the Knicks this week because of a personal matter and that both sides agreed to separate for now, giving him additional time away from the team.
