At long last, U2 will tour in 2027 in support of their new album, Carnaval De Luz, and have announced the first slate of dates.
The band announced the Greatest Show on Earth Tour, which is the band's first since 2019. They will be joined by drummer Larry Mullen Jr., who missed U2's 40-night Sphere residency with injuries, for this tour.

So far, six dates have been announced. U2 will be playing in Mexico City, Mexico, for two shows before playing four in São Paulo, Brazil, and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
This has been the year of U2. The band released two surprise EPs—Days of Ash and Easter Lily—at the top of the year. Their 14th album and first with original music since 2017, Carnaval De Luz, will be released on Nov. 13. U2 will finally hit the road again in 2027.
U2's last tour was the 2019 extension of the 2017 Joshua Tree anniversary tour. They embarked on legs in Oceania and Asia in 2019. From September 2023 to March 2024, the band performed 40 shows at the Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada.
