Ryan Day will lead his Ohio State Buckeyes against the Indiana Hoosiers in a much-anticipated Big Ten clash on Saturday. However, Day's team will not be at full strength for their clash against the defending national champions as the Buckeyes continue to deal with a rash of injuries.

“Will we be 100% healthy? Probably not,” Day said, per Dan Hope on X, formerly Twitter.

As it turns out, Day was being truthful with his statement about his team's health status. In the Buckeyes' injury report, they listed six players as out for the game. The list includes starting offensive lineman Austin Siereveld, who will miss his second straight game. Aside from them, five other players are listed as questionable.

The Buckeyes' backfield looks particularly beat up at the moment. Ja'Kobi Jackson, the team's second-leading rusher (354 yards) and rushing touchdown leader (6), is already ruled out. Meanwhile, Isaiah West, their third-leading rusher, is among those questionable.

Should both of them miss out, more of the burden will fall on the team's leading rusher, Bo Jackson. The sophomore running back is coming off his strongest game of the season to date against Maryland as he had 107 rushing yards on 23 carries with two touchdowns, all season-highs.

But amid all the injuries the Buckeyes are currently facing, Day can still call on star wide receiver Jeremiah Smith to play a leading role against Indiana. After back-to-back monster performances against Illinois and Iowa, where he had over 11 catches, 200 receiving yards and two touchdowns, he still had 93 yards on four catches with two scores against Maryland.
