The LA Clippers have undergone significant changes over the last few months, namely with stars like Kawhi Leonard, James Harden, and Ivica Zubac departing the franchise. And prior to that, it was stars like Paul George and Russell Westbrook who saw their Clippers tenures come to an end as well. With so many changes in personnel, the Clippers are giving fans a chance to renew their gear.
During Wednesday night's pre-season finale against the Denver Nuggets, the Clippers announced that the franchise would be hosting a jersey exchange program where fans will be eligible to exchange their old jerseys for new ones.
Clippers Say Out With The Old, In With The New
Below are the details on the Clippers jersey swap plan, scheduled for October 21st's home opener against the Sacramento Kings. First and foremost, the offer is only valid for the first 4,000 fans with a ticket to Wednesday night's game against the Kings and will be held at the Intuit Dome plaza just outside the arena.
The team will be accepting Swingman and Authentic jerseys in the exchanges. That means those Kawhi Leonard jerseys that fans may now feel some type of way about? Those are eligible to be exchanged for jerseys of current Clippers players. The same goes for Paul George or a number of players who have donned the Clippers unis.
Other teams' Swingman or Authentic jerseys featuring a current Clippers player will also be accepted and can be exchanged for any current player. For example, a fan can being a Los Angeles Lakers Rui Hachimura jersey and receive a Clippers Hachimura jersey or any other current player jersey. Or fans can bring in a Toronto Raptors or New Orleans Pelicans Brandon Ingram jersey and receive a Clippers Ingram jersey or any other current player jersey.
That applies for every player on the Clippers roster. There is no year restriction on the jersey swap, so fans can bring any jersey of a current Clippers players and have that jersey exchanged for a new one.
The only real restriction is that giveaway jerseys and other jersey types aside from the Swingman and Authentic jerseys are not eligible for exchange.
In the exchanges, fans will be receiving an LA Clippers Icon Navy Swingman jersey featuring a current Clippers player. The sizes are adult only in small, medium, large, extra large, and 2X large. No youth sizes are going to be available to receive. If fans bring a youth-sized jersey that is eligible to be swapped, they will have to choose a jersey to receive in adult sizes.

The Clippers' longest tenured player entering this season is Jordan Miller, who has been with the franchise since 2023. With an entirely new core of players and a franchise bouncing back from a long offseason, this is a great opportunity for fans to get a jersey upgrade.
As of right now, this is the only jersey exchange program that the franchise has planned, so even though there could be more down the line, it would be in fans' best interests to try and take advantage of this one if they'd like a new jersey.
