With Jake Paul now looking for a comeback fight, fans recently saw British celebrity boxer Tommy Fury emerge as an exciting choice. With Paul making his comeback from his broken jaw, rumors emerged about him squaring off against Fury.

However, before the long-awaited fight became official, Paul insulted Fury by calling out that his dad dictates his career. “When you are almost 30 and your dad is still calling the shots in your career…Maybe realize there is a reason your brother doesn’t have daddy as his career guide,” Paul wrote.

Paul and Fury have been in discussions over a rematch of their 2023 fight, which Fury had won. While Paul wanted the rematch in Dec. 2026, Fury had a Misfits fight commitment before Christmas and wanted to push the Jake Paul fight to 2027.

Fury recently came online and tackled Paul's comments. “I just wanted to come on here and address a few things that Jake Paul and his team have been saying recently,” he said. “I'm very lucky to have my dad on my side, because he's made me multi-millions without even a black eye, so I don't think that's too bad business.

“And Nakisa, it's very not businessman-like to be throwing around false comments on the internet. You were sat in that room with everybody, and you agreed everything bar the date. You know I've got stuff to do in December, so anytime after that – January, February, March, April, May – Jake Paul can have it. I'll bust him again, just like I did the first time with one hand. So I'll see you boys next year if you're serious about the fight,” Fury finished.

As of now, fans have yet to see the fight between Paul and Fury get a confirmation status.
