For a third straight week, Alabama football started slow against Florida State. Also, for a third straight week, Alabama ended up winning in a blowout.

Now, the Crimson Tide is set to host South Carolina this weekend, and Pete Nakos of On3 has an injury update on two key players.

“Alabama RB AK Dear and WR Noah Rogers are officially off the SEC injury report and good to go for this weekend against South Carolina,” Nakos posted on X, formerly Twitter.

Dear has not played this year, but did see some time as a freshman in five games. He ran the ball 19 times for 140 yards and three touchdowns. Rogers has also not played this year for the Tide. He spent the last two seasons at NC State, catching 68 passes for 919 yards and three touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Alabama will be without Desmond Umeozulu and Justin Hill, both top edge rushers for the Crimson Tide. With them out of the lineup, Jah-Marien Latham and Fatutoa Henry are expected to step up, along wth Yhonzae Pierrer, to get pressure on LaNorris Sellers. Meanwhile, Jorden Edmonds, Cayden Jones, Nick Sherman and Jeremiah Beaman are all out for Alabama.

South Carolina is hopeful to have Dylan Stewart and Shawn Murphy on the edge. Stewart returned to the lineup last week for South Carolina. He has been solid in the last two seasons, racking up 11 sacks. Murphy has been great this year. He has ten tackles with a half sack on the season.

South Carolina and Alabama kick off at 7 pm ET on Saturday.
