The Chicago Bulls were still in it on Sunday. Yes, they lost their seventh straight game and are now 1-8. They lost to the star-studded Philadelphia 76ers, but it was a hard-fought game to the end, 127-121. Plus, virtually every Chicago player stepped up and played their best as a collective thus far.
Out of everyone, Josh Giddey stood out. He finished with a double-double of 19 points and 15 assists. The playmaking alone was something of note, considering that Giddey has struggled at the start of the season after a left wrist injury during the opening preseason game against the Phoenix Suns.
After the game, head coach Tiago Splitter thoroughly reinforced who Giddey is at his best.
“He was the Josh that we know,” Splitter said.

Luckily for Giddey, he wasn't alone facing LeBron James, Jaylen Brown, Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and VJ Edgecombe. Every Chicago player who stepped onto the floor scored.
