The Philadelphia Eagles enter NFL trade deadline weekend anticipated to tweak their roster under Howie Roseman. That includes the general manager possibly moving fan favorite tight end Dallas Goedert.

The Super Bowl winner himself is acknowledging that he may need to clean his Eagles locker out soon.

Goedert appears to be ready for anything that occurs between Sunday and the Tuesday deadline, per Eagles inside for The Athletic Zach Berman.

“Obviously, there's always a chance in this league. Comes down to this one, trade deadline, but think I got enough problems for today. Try not to worry about tomorrow,” Goedert said.

However, Goedert said that he and the GM had “a good conversation” a few weeks ago. Which could signal that Goedert could manage to hang around longer. Though nothing is set in stone there.

“Obviously, anything can change,” Goedert said. “For the right price, everybody's available, so we'll see what happens. But not too worried about it.”

Goedert played in two Super Bowls with the Eagles and won the 2024 one alongside quarterback Jalen Hurts, running back Saquon Barkley, plus wide receivers AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith. The TE emerged as the blue collar, physical presence who helped set the tone for the Philly offense.

One wild scenario is Roseman and Philly sends Goedert to the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks. Seattle has struggled with establishing a reliable underneath target for quarterback Sam Darnold. Plus the Seahawks have naturally ran a TE heavy attack that features lots of 12 and 13 personnel. So Seattle could rise as one team to watch in this scenario.
