The Pittsburgh Steelers have been without Joey Porter Jr. so far this season, as he's currently dealing with a back injury, along with trade rumors stemming from failed contract negotiations. However, it appears a return to the field could be in play in the club's Week 4 matchup against the Cleveland Browns.
The Steelers' latest injury report reveals that the 26-year-old cornerback has been a full participant in practice on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com. It's also said that Porter is on the injury report for a non-injury-related reason (conditioning). While nothing is set in stone just yet, this at least provides some hope for the star defender to finally make his 2026-27 season debut.
