Houston Rockets star Kevin Durant has become the NBA's active leader for consecutive regular-season games with at least 20 points after Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Kawhi Leonard and Devin Booker each had lengthy streaks snapped within a span of five days.

Durant extended his streak to nine games Monday night as Houston remained undefeated with a 120-110 victory over the Atlanta Hawks. The 38-year-old finished with 22 points, nine rebounds, four blocks, three assists and one steal in 30 minutes. He shot 6-for-13 from the field, 1-for-4 from 3-point range and 9-for-10 from the free-throw line.

Gilgeous-Alexander entered Oct. 22 with an NBA-record streak of 141 consecutive regular-season games with at least 20 points. The Oklahoma City Thunder star finally fell short against the Denver Nuggets, scoring 17 points on 6-for-19 shooting with three assists, two rebounds and one block.

Oklahoma City still defeated Denver 96-84, ending Gilgeous-Alexander's streak on a winning note.

That left Leonard as the active leader at 58 games, but his stint atop the list lasted just one day.

Leonard scored 16 points on 7-for-20 shooting and went 2-for-8 from beyond the arc Friday against the Washington Wizards. He also recorded three steals as Toronto earned a 112-102 road victory, but his streak ended at 58 games.

Booker then inherited the lead and extended his run to 11 straight games by scoring 43 points in Phoenix's 131-122 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Saturday.

Two nights later, Oklahoma City shut him down. Booker finished with just three points, two rebounds and seven assists on 1-for-7 shooting in Phoenix's 125-114 loss to the Thunder.
