Arizona will be without one of its top offensive players for at least the next four weeks.

Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, running back Jeremiyah Love will be placed on injured reserve due to a high-ankle sprain suffered during Sunday’s win over the Cowboys.

This is a different ankle sprain than the one Love previously dealt with this season.

The initial timeline has Love returning in four to five weeks.

Love, this year’s No. 3 overall pick out of Notre Dame, has rushed for 268 yards with one touchdown on 76 carries in six games. He’s also caught 11 passes for 36 yards with a TD.

Love’s injury leaves the Cardinals thin at running back, as Bam Knight also suffered a concussion on Sunday. But Tyler Allgeier did rush for 147 yards on 11 carries with a touchdown in the win over Dallas.

Evan Hull is also on Arizona’s 53-man roster at running back, and Jerome Ford is on the team’s practice squad.
