The Ravens’ kicker change will last longer than one game.

The team announced that they have placed Tyler Loop on injured reserve on Tuesday. Loop is dealing with a groin injury.

Head coach Jesse Minter suggested that this move could be coming on Monday and said that Jake Moody will handle the kicking duties against the Jaguars on Thursday night. The veteran has been on the team’s practice squad and has a chance to remain in the role for at least the next four games.

Loop was 13-of-17 on field goals, including a walk-off 56-yarder against the Cowboys and a 64-yarder against the Titans. He is also 18-of-18 on extra points.
