Earlier this year, rapper Lil Yachty aligned himself with Trick Williams ahead of his championship pursuit. Tagging along Williams' side for the last few months, Lil Yachty is now interested in pursuing his own pro-wrestling dreams.

Recently, at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event, Lil Yachty made his WWE in-ring debut against Baron Corbin and lasted five minutes. The two-time Grammy-nominated music artist and producer recently sat down with Complex for an interview.

As the conversation continued, Yachty opened up about entering WWE and becoming Trick Williams' manager. When asked about the lessons he could take from WWE into his live music concerts, Yachty claimed that both industries are different before sharing his love for the company. Lil Yachty noted that he's now trying to become full-time with the promotion.

“Nah, no correlation. It’s so much different; it’s so much more militant you gotta be in WWE. This is my show. I call the shots, I make the rules, I do what I want. WWE, it’s time, it’s cameras… producers. It’s so different. It’s like militant, and you gotta be on your sh*t… I always talk to wrestlers about this: You just don’t have the leeway you have. I can go up there, talk sh*t, f**k up. You got X amount of time and you gotta make everything count, and you gotta captivate that audience.

“You don’t see them again till next Friday, and you got a real small time in your segment to get your point across, your message across, and be remembered for six more days until next Friday, and hope that you captivated so good that Friday, that, in them six days, you back on TV again.

“If you f**k up or you do some bullsh*t, you might not be on TV that next week. It’s a lot more militant and disciplined, and I love it, man. I’d like to go full-time; I’m trying to go full-time. I won’t ever put an album out ever again,” he added.

He concluded by claiming that he is able to climb the ranks in WWE and earn enough money, he can kiss his music goodbye. “I swear to God. I will be back flipping, getting thrown through tables and whatever else until my body give out on me,” he finished.

The rapper has been off television since getting attacked by Baron Corbin during the Sept. 11, 2026 episode of WWE SmackDown.
