A few days ago, WWE Hall of Famer and current AEW employee Ric Flair suffered a scary fall in Tampa, Florida. Shortly after, he was sent to a hospital. TMZ later reported that Flair injured his face after spending time at the restaurant’s bar. According to sources close to TMZ, Flair left his drink and phone behind, crossed the street, and fell.
A few hours later, Flair opened up and shared his health update on social media, where he addressed his injury and revealed his eye patch as a result of the fall. “I Am Focused On My Healing And Recovery Right Now. I Will Be Okay! And Just So You Know For Those Who Were Asking And Wondering, I Don’t Own My Own Facebook Page Anymore. I Apologize For The Reckless Posting Behavior On My Facebook When I Was In The Hospital. It Was Completely Inappropriate!” Flair wrote on social media.
Now, days later, Flair revealed his eye injury by opening up his patch. “One More Surgery And One More Possible Skin Graft, And Then I Will Be Good To Go! Thank You @USFHealth Eye Institute!” he wrote while announcing his upcoming surgery to fix the skin around his injury.

Flair, 77, has been through several recent health scares. Last year, he was diagnosed with skin cancer but became cancer-free after going through surgery. He also recently had a blood clot before he fell and had to be hospitalized. Out of the hospital, Flair is now risk-free but has yet to undergo the surgery.
