Terrance Ferguson did not shy away from the bright lights at SoFi Stadium on Monday and helped the Los Angeles Rams defeat the New York Giants, 28-6.

With Matthew Stafford leading the charge with a clinical performance, the Rams were unstoppable on offense. He had teamed up with Davante Adams and Kyren Williams for three touchdowns before Ferguson joined the party.

With nine minutes left in the fourth quarter, Ferguson found the end zone with a five-yard toss from Stafford, marking the rookie tight end's first score in the NFL.

The 23-year-old Ferguson did not hide his excitement when asked about his newest milestone.

“It's my first time to score here at SoFi, so it's pretty cool to have the fans with me, being it a home game and being able to score a touchdown,” said the No. 46 pick out of Oregon in the video shared by Sports Central LA.

He was thankful that coach Sean McVay continued to trust him despite having two drops. He acknowledged that it was a massive confidence-booster.

Ferguson added that they learned a lot from their loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1 in Australia.

“We went back and watched that game, and there were a lot of things we wanted back and a lot of meat on the bone. We did a lot of good things in that first game but didn't execute (enough). Just being able to come back and really show ourselves and what we're made of (was important). We have a great team,” said Ferguson.

He was targeted only once by Stafford against the 49ers.

The Rams will face the Denver Broncos in Week 3.
