With Los Angeles Rams defensive star Myles Garrett making his injury return during the 20-13 win over the Washington Commanders, he came back in monster fashion, recording three sacks in the game. Right from Garrett's first sack on Sunday with the Rams, it was clear that he made an impact on that side of the ball, as star teammate Aaron Donald is happy to see him back.

People had been waiting to see both Donald and Garrett on the same defensive line for Los Angeles, but with Donald missing the opener on Sept. 10, which was a 27-7 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, and Garrett missing the last seven games, it wasn't a reality until Sunday.

Speaking to the media after the game, Donald was as happy as ever, speaking about how he missed out on a sack on Sunday since Jayden Daniels threw it out quicker than he could get to him.

“I did, man. I got close. Every time I got close, you get the ball out,” Donald said, via NFL. “I'm like, ‘They don't want me to have a damn sack.' It's all good, as long as we win. I'm good, man. But my ops were there. I had some good rushes, some clean wins. But every time I got close, he got the ball out. But it's all good. We got a good win, though.”

One member of the media would even ask that Donald could have helped Garrett get some of his sacks as he pushed his teammate into Daniels. Donald would poke fun, saying that some of the sacks Garrett got were “our sacks.”

“I pushed it, yeah, so like two of his sacks is like our sacks, you know,” Donald said while laughing. “[They're] our sacks, so.”

Donald, Garrett, and the Rams look to continue their winning ways next Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.
