Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs is set to return in Week 7, pending his removal from the commissioner's exempt list. As the team prepares to reintegrate this Pro Bowl running back, who comes after a period where the offense averaged a league-low of 60.4 rushing yards per game, his availability for the upcoming game remains uncertain.

According to a report by ESPN's Rob Demovsky shared on X, Packers coach Matt LaFleur indicated that Josh Jacobs will practice on Wednesday and will have a full week of work. However, it is still to be determined whether he will play on Sunday against Detroit. LaFleur mentioned, “We feel like he's in a pretty good spot. He's been training, but he's missed the exposure to football.” This means that while Jacobs is returning to practice, his official active status for the game on Sunday is not guaranteed.
