Dan Orlovsky didn't hold back his critiques toward Sean McVay and the Los Angeles Rams' struggles following their 18-16 loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
Los Angeles entered the campaign with Super Bowl expectations, having reached the NFC Championship game last season. Despite boasting an elite offense while retooling the defense with key players, they start the season with an underwhelming 2-4 record.
Orlovsky reflected on the team's struggles during his Monday appearance on ESPN's NFL Live. He noted the lack of touches for Kyren Williams and Matthew Stafford's field vision taking a decline.
“I don't think Matthew is seeing the field great. I don't think he's seeing the field bad. Okay, so he's not seeing it great, not at the MVP level last year. And so, for an offense that right now, I don't think he's the quarterback's not playing as well as he did last year. They're trying to find ways to be a little bit more creative in their explosive pass and play action pass game, for some reason, like yesterday, I think their first or second, third and one of the game, they take a shot. Why? Just get the first down. Yeah, just get the first down. You call a shot the next play. So, it's a frustrating offense to watch right now because I feel like we're doing things just to do them,” Orlovsky said.

How Rams played against Cardinals
Dan Orlovsky didn't hold back his criticism, and rightfully so. The Rams are more than capable of winning these game; they just need to get out of their own way and make the right plays.
Article Continues BelowMatthew Stafford was active with his passing against Arizona, but he didn't give the usual high attention to his star receivers. He completed 25 out of 33 passes for 222 yards and two touchdowns.
Kyren Williams didn't have the high activity in Los Angeles' game against Arizona. He only racked up 10 carries for 50 yards while catching three passes for 17 yards. Blake Corum was a bright spot in the offense, having nine carries for 42 yards while catching two passes for 18 yards and a touchdown. Puka Nacua led receivers with six catches for 80 yards, while Davante Adams caught three passes for 39 yards. Meanwhile, Colby Parkinson had five receptions for 31 yards and a touchdown.
The Rams will look to bounce back in their next matchup, being on the road. They take on the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 7 as kickoff commences on Oct. 25 at 4:25 p.m. ET.
