The Los Angeles Rams are in a bit of a tailspin following their recent home letdown against the Arizona Cardinals. Things went from bad to worse on Monday with the news that star wide receiver Davante Adams would be out for an extended period of time due to an injury suffered in that game.
The Rams now sit at 2-4 on the season, a far cry from the Super Bowl contender status that most thought they would be destined for, but the oddsmakers still aren't giving up on Los Angeles, as BetOnline still has them listed as having the fifth-highest odds to win this year's Super Bowl, at +1200. The only teams ahead of them are the San Francisco 49ers, Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, and Baltimore Ravens.
However, the oddsmakers aren't so high on the Rams' chances of winning the NFC West, as the team trails the 49ers and Seattle Seahawks heavily in that race.
The Rams have stumbled out of the gates to a 2-4 start, with injuries playing a large role in their struggles so far. The team has been without star pass rusher Myles Garrett for several weeks, and now they'll have to soldier on with Adams sidelined for the foreseeable future.
Meanwhile, Matthew Stafford seems to have regressed significantly this year, struggling to take care of the ball after his MVP season last year.

Los Angeles will next hit the field for a road game vs the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
