The Indiana Pacers are scheduled to take on the Atlanta Hawks on Monday evening with the goal of earning their third win of the season. Unfortunately, the roster is incredibly shorthanded, as head coach Rick Carlisle will be utilizing a seven-man rotation.
Reports indicate that, technically, eight players are active for the Pacers, according to Indiana-based sports reporter Tony East. However, Obi Toppin will not play against the Hawks on Monday night. That leaves just seven players available for the club's fourth home game of the season.
“Obi Toppin will dress tonight so the Pacers have 8 players active, but he won't play,” East posted on X. “So the Pacers' seven: Quenton Jackson, Kelly Oubre, Jarace Walker, Jalen Slawson, Jay Huff, Braden Smith, and Kobe Brown.”
