The Atlanta Dream came up short in the WNBA Finals, losing to the Golden State Valkyries in Game 7. Though it may be disappointing, the Dream still have a lot to be proud of, and the future is bright for what they want to accomplish. A day after the loss, Angel Reese went on Instagram to share a message to all of her supporters.

“I’m so grateful & blessed. God, THANK YOU for allowing me to play another season full of health, love, passion, joy, community, and so much more,” Reese wrote. “When I pray before every game, I thank God for ALL the highs & lows because I truly mean it.

“I’m still numb from how it ended, but I realize not many get to experience this in just their 3rd year in the league. I’m BEYOND PROUD & have absolutely NOTHING to hang my head about. Every loss is a lesson & sometimes it’s not NO, just NOT YET. Delayed, not denied. Trust me, I’m HUNGRY for more.”

Reese wasn't done there, as a day later, she posted on her private Instagram account, sharing that she would be focusing on herself during the offseason.

It was a big season for Reese, as she continued to break records and also won Defensive Player of the Year. She's accomplished a lot in just her first three years in the league, and the expectation is that she'll only get better.
