The Eagles rank 30th in total offense, including 29th in rushing. They have not had running back Saquon Barkley since Week 4; right tackle Lane Johnson retired unexpectedly on Oct. 6; and the Eagles’ Week 5 loss to the Jaguars will be the final game of the season for quarterback Jalen Hurts.
Offensive coordinator Sean Mannion doesn’t have much to work with, but head coach Nick Sirianni still faced questions about Mannion on Monday.
Sirianni replied, “Yes,” when asked directly whether Mannion would continue to call plays.
Sirianni acknowledged the offense has to be better, and he and the coaches will spend the next few days trying to fix it.
“Everything’s on the table,” Sirianni said, adding that the play caller and coaches aren’t changing.
With Tanner McKee at quarterback, the Eagles gained 222 yards in the loss to the Panthers on Sunday. McKee completed 26 of 45 passes for 215 yards and a touchdown.
