Jacksonville Jaguars at Baltimore Ravens – NFL Week 9 Results According to Madden 27
| Team | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| JAX | 10 | 7 | 14 | 3 | 34 |
| BAL | 0 | 3 | 0 | 3 | 6 |
The Jaguars pick up another big win as they defeat the Ravens with ease.
With Baltimore resorting to third-string, undrafted rookie QB Joe Fagnano, Jacksonville's defense had no trouble making the stops they needed to. Derrick Henry received a workhorse load in the first half, but the Jaguars' D forced the Ravens to pass more often in the second half.
The Jaguars had a 17-3 lead at the half, which catapulted to 31-3 after a dominant third quarter. A touchdown reception from Brenton Strange with 2:11 left in the third essentially sealed the game very early.
Cincinnati Bengals at Atlanta Falcons – NFL Week 9 Results According to Madden 27
| Team | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| CIN | 7 | 7 | 14 | 3 | 31 |
| ATL | 0 | 7 | 3 | 14 | 24 |
The Bengals prevent the Falcons from coming back and win their fourth game in a row.
Overall, Cincinnati's offense picked up where they left off in the Titans game, but with less interceptions from Joe Burrow this time. The veteran signal-caller threw for over 340 yards and tossed three touchdowns to just one interception in the win. The trio of Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, and RB Chase Brown (18 carries for 80 yards and a touchdown) overmatched the Falcons' defense.
Atlanta's offense mostly struggled throughout the game, trailing 28-10 at the start of the fourth quarter. But a touchdown reception from Drake London put some hope back on their sideline. But when the Bengals responded with a FG, the Falcons had just 7:28 to tie the game. They did eventually end up scoring again, but didn't have enough time to make a full comeback.
Dallas Cowboys at Indianapolis Colts – NFL Week 9 Results According to Madden 27
| Team | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| DAL | 7 | 13 | 10 | 3 | 36 |
| IND | 0 | 10 | 10 | 8 | 28 |
The Cowboys' defense struggles once again, but the offense helps them find a way to beat the Colts.
While the Colts relied heavily on Jonathan Taylor and the run game, the Cowboys had plenty of success with the passing attack. CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens caught a combined 13 catches for 255 yards and three touchdowns. Dak Prescott was nearly perfect, completing just over 70% of his passes in the win.
The Colts had little success in the air with the exception of a 36-yard TD reception from Josh Downs in the third quarter. For the most part, Taylor was their key weapon, earning 148 rushing yards on 24 attempts along with two touchdown runs. His three-yard TD run with 4:16 in the fourth quarter (along with a successful two-point conversion attempt) helped the Colts make this a one-score game.
But when the Cowboys got the ball back, they did manage to waste the clock. Poor timeout management from the Colts made it even more difficult in their efforts to recover the ball.
New York Jets at Kansas City Chiefs – NFL Week 9 Results According to Madden 27
| Team | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| NYJ | 0 | 3 | 7 | 3 | 13 |
| KC | 7 | 10 | 0 | 7 | 24 |
The Jets were close to coming back in this contest, but the Chiefs instead found a way to end their two-game losing streak.
The game could not have started better for the Chiefs, who took a 17-3 lead at the half. But 10 unanswered points from New York's offense instantly changed things up. Geno Smith had two turnovers in the first half, but had a touchdown and led New York on two separate scoring drives.
However, the Chiefs managed to put the game away with a long-drive that ended with a TD run from Kenneth Walker III. Now needing 11 points to tie the game, the Jets' offense failed to get anything going and ended up losing their fourth game in a row.
Detroit Lions at Miami Dolphins – NFL Week 9 Results According to Madden 27
| Team | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| DET | 0 | 10 | 7 | 10 | 27 |
| MIA | 3 | 0 | 7 | 7 | 17 |
It took some time for Detroit's offense to get settled, but they ended up getting things to work out as they beat the Dolphins, 27-17.
Miami was the first on the board with a FG drive thanks to a fumble from Jahmyr Gibbs. However, the Dolphins' offense was unable to get anything going on their own until the second half. Before that happened, the Lions managed to score 10 unanswered points to take a 10-3 lead at the half.
Malik Willis tied the game in the third quarter by throwing a touchdown to Caleb Douglas. And the Lions responded with Jahmyr Gibbs making up for his fumble with a 12-yard TD reception.
Eventually, Detroit took a two-possession lead when Amon-Ra St. Brown caught a touchdown pass in the first play of the fourth quarter. However, the Lions couldn't relax yet, as Willis found Douglas for another touchdown just five minutes later.
Fortunately for the Lions, they prevented a trip to OT with another FG drive just before the two-minute warning. And with the win, they keep up with the Bears and Vikings for NFC North dominance.
Cleveland Browns at New Orleans Saints – NFL Week 9 Results According to Madden 27
| Team | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| CLE | 3 | 3 | 7 | 7 | 20 |
| NO | 3 | 7 | 3 | 3 | 16 |
The Browns manage to beat the Saints and jump up to 6-3.
Cleveland's offense struggled in the first half, but made up for it with a solid performance the second. Furthermore, they defense played well, preventing the Saints from building up a big lead early on. Despite forcing two turnovers, the Saints' offense wasn't able to capitalize on either.
Down 10-6 at the half, the Browns started the third quarter with a TD run from Quinshon Judkins. But the Saints managed to tie the game later on with another FG drive. They eventually re-took the lead with another FG drive early in the fourth.
About halfway through the fourth quarter, Shedeur Sanders connected with Harold Fannin Jr. to take a 20-16 lead. Their defense managed to hold off the Saints' offense, with LB Carson Schwesinger intercepting a late pass from Tyler Shough with 1:19 remaining.
New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles – NFL Week 9 Results According to Madden 27
| TEAM | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| NYG | 0 | 13 | 10 | 6 | 29 |
| PHI | 3 | 0 | 3 | 7 | 13 |
J.J. McCarthy and the Giants take down the Eagles with ease thanks to a high-powered run-game.
New York literally ran over Philly all day, gaining 159 yards on the ground. Devin Singletary picked up 72 yards, Tyrone Tracy Jr. had a 24 yard run, and even J.J. McCarthy had a couple of big runs.
Despite scoring on their first drive, the Eagles' offense couldn't score a touchdown until the fourth quarter. During that time, the Giants managed to outscore them 26-3, ultimately having a 26-6 lead during the fourth quarter. Although Joe Milton III made up for his INT with a TD pass to Makai Lemon, the Eagles only had 10:10 to overcome a 13 point deficit.
Instead, they failed to do so, while the Giants actually managed to tack on another FG and make things even more difficult for the birds. With the win, the Giants maintain a comfortable lead in the NFC East.
Los Angeles Rams at Washington Commanders – NFL Week 9 Results According to Madden 27
| Team | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| LAR | 7 | 10 | 6 | 7 | 30 |
| WAS | 7 | 7 | 0 | 0 | 14 |
The Rams extend their win streak to three games with a 30-14 win over the Commanders.
Washington actually played well in the first half, keeping up with the Rams every time they scored a touchdown. When Matthew Stafford threw a TD pass to Puka Nacua, Jayden Daniels responded with a touchdown pass to Terry McLaurin. However, a late FG before the half expired put the Rams on top 17-14.
During the second half, Washington's offense broke down completely. The run game, which was fine in the first half, started to stutter in the second. Daniels, who had two TD passes in the first half, had none in the second. Furthermore, he only threw for 97 yards in the second half, compared to the 143 he had in the first.
L.A.'s two field goals in the third put them up 23-14. Then, a TD run from Kyren Williams sealed the game, giving them a 30-14 lead with just 5:03 left to go.
Denver Broncos at Carolina Panthers – NFL Week 9 Results According to Madden 27
| Team | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| DEN | 5 | 7 | 7 | 0 | 19 |
| CAR | 0 | 3 | 0 | 7 | 10 |
The Broncos' defense was superb as the team defeated the Panthers to maintain the top spot of the AFC West.
Denver's defense managed to sack Bryce Young on the Panthers' second drive. Young fumbled the ball, but was able to recover it, resulting in a safety. The Broncos' offense was able to get three points on the following drive, making it 5-0.
Denver extended their lead when Jaylen Waddle caught a touchdown pass right at the two-minute warning. But the Panthers prevented a first-half shutout with a quick FG drive.
However, things went from bad to worse for Carolina as they allowed another TD (1-yard run from Jonah Coleman). While Young was able to find Tetairoa McMillan for a late TD pass, they were unable to tie the game and potentially come back.
Houston Texans at Los Angeles Chargers – NFL Week 9 Results According to Madden 27
| Team | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| HOU | 3 | 0 | 7 | 7 | 17 |
| LAC | 3 | 3 | 3 | 6 | 15 |
The Texans keep the Chargers winless thanks to a big defensive stop in the final seconds.
L.A. managed to possess a lead at halftime for the first time this season. But unfortunately for them, they weren't able to maintain or extend that lead. Instead, the Texans managed to score two touchdowns, while the Chargers could only tack on one more field goal. Overall, they were trailing 17-9 with just over four minutes left.
However, the Chargers were able to score their first touchdown since week 5 as Justin Herbert threw a touchdown pass to TE Charlie Kolar. But Herbert was unable to convert the two-point conversion. On the onside kick, Houston recovered and never let go of the ball as they won in Week 9.
Green Bay Packers at New England Patriots – NFL Week 9 Results According to Madden 27
| Team | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| GB | 0 | 10 | 7 | 7 | 24 |
| NE | 7 | 0 | 7 | 7 | 21 |
The Green Bay Packers manage to beat the Patriots on the road and jump up to 6-3 on the season.
New England won the first quarter, but the Packers took over in the second, scoring 10 unanswered points. Both teams traded touchdowns in the third quarter, but Green Bay still held on, leading 17-14.
Things got worse for New England when Drake Maye threw an interception in the GB end zone that resulted in a touchback. The Packers' offense was able to respond with a long, efficient drive, capped off by a four-yard TD run from Josh Jacobs.
Down 24-14, Maye was able to redeem his INT with a TD pass to Efton Chism III, making it 24-21 with 6:47 left to go. The Patriots were able to get the ball back twice in this game. On their first drive, Andres Borregales missed a 54 yard FG attempt that would've tied the game. On their second drive, Green Bay forced a turnover on Downs at the NE 42.
Las Vegas Raiders at San Francisco 49ers – NFL Week 9 Results According to Madden 27
| Team | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| LV | 3 | 7 | 7 | 11 | 28 |
| SF | 7 | 7 | 14 | 3 | 31 |
The 49ers survive a late come back attempt from the Raiders as they maintain their top dog status in the NFC West.
Both teams kept things close in the first half, with the Niners having a 14-10 lead. San Francisco managed to extend their lead with another pair of TDs in the third, leading 28-17 with 15:00 left to go.
The Raiders quickly caught back up when Ashton Jeanty broke off for a 37-yard TD reception. Kirk Cousins was able to find Tre Harris for the two-point conversion, instantly making it a three point game.
A great kick return from Jordan James put the Niners in Raider territory. But the 49ers were only able to get a FG on the drive, extending their lead but not putting the game away. Fortunately for them, the defense was able to make some key stops, preventing the Raiders from only getting just one field goal for the rest of the quarter.
Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks – NFL Week 9 Results According to Madden 27
| Team | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| ARI | 0 | 0 | 0 | 7 | 7 |
| SEA | 3 | 10 | 14 | 7 | 34 |
The Seahawks had no problem taking down Gardner Minshew II in his first start for the Cardinals.
Things started off slow for the Hawks, who weren't making the most of their offensive opportunities. The defense had no problem shutting down Minshew and the run game, but the offense could only muster up 13 points.
But in the second half, Seattle's offense finally managed to get into a rhythm. Jaxon Smith-Njigba was once again a big factor for the offense, hauling in 10 catches for 117 yards and two touchdown receptions. His second touchdown reception came in the third quarter, giving Seattle a 27-0 lead.
However, the Cardinals did prevent a shutout and finally got a touchdown in the fourth quarter. Nevertheless, it seems like Minshew may not be the solution to their problems, either.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Chicago Bears – NFL Week 9 Results According to Madden 27
| Team | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| TB | 3 | 7 | 3 | 7 | 20 |
| CHI | 6 | 14 | 3 | 10 | 33 |
The Bears defeat the Buccaneers on Sunday night.
This simulation was packed with field goals galore. Overall, there were seven field goal attempts, six of which were successfully converted. But both offenses did play well enough to make it an exciting match.
Chicago's offense continues to look amazing, with Caleb Williams continuing to dominate. He completed 66% of his passes for 286 yards and two touchdown passes. He did throw an interception when the Bears were up 20-3, and that pick did lead to a Bucs' touchdown. But besides that, the third-year QB played very well.
D'Andre Swift also continues to put up good numbers, gaining 90 total yards and a rushing touchdown, which came in the fourth quarter and gave the Bears a 30-20 lead. Overall, a win here for the Bears keeps them competing for that top spot in a strong NFC North division.
Buffalo Bills at Minnesota Vikings – NFL Week 9 Results According to Madden 27
| Team | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| BUF | 0 | 0 | 7 | 6 | 13 |
| MIN | 0 | 0 | 6 | 3 | 9 |
The Buffalo Bills win a tough defensive battle against the Vikings.
This was the only simulation of the week where neither team scored in the first half. The Vikings were the first to score in the second half with a FG, but the Bills eventually took the lead after a TD run from James Cook III. Minnesota was able to score two unanswered field goals, taking a 9-7 lead with 13:00 left in the game.
But the Bills' offense was able to end things on a bright note with two unanswered field goals of their own. The first was with 7:44 left in the game. And after the Vikings punted the ball with about 6:37, the Bills were able to march down and pick up another FG.
Needing a touchdown to win and just 1:51 left in the game, the Vikings were unable to pick up a last-minute TD drive and win the game. Instead, they lose two in a row.
Overall, that wraps up our NFL Week 9 Results according to Madden 27. We hope you enjoyed reading, and we look forward to seeing how it performs! Regardless off the outcome, we look forward to seeing what crazy stuff the game might predict will happen.
