Next month, newlyweds Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift will celebrate their first Christmas since getting married at Madison Square Garden in July.

Suffice it to say, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end is “excited” for Christmas as a married man. He spoke about the holiday season as part of a Tommy Hilfiger campaign and was glowing while talking about Christmas.

“I’m excited for my first holiday as a married man,” said Kelce. “I love all the old traditions and can’t wait to start some new ones. I start celebrating as that tree goes up.”

Kelce and Swift tied the knot on Friday, July 3, 2026, at the World's Most Famous Arena. There were around a thousand guests at the wedding. Adam Sandler, who starred in Happy Gilmore 2 alongside Kelce, officiated the ceremony.

The festivities carried into the early hours of Saturday, July 4. Paul McCartney, Stevie Nicks, and Avril Lavigne were among the performers at the wedding.

The wedding came almost a year after Kelce proposed to Swift in August 2025. Their wedding was the event of the summer, and now they are navigating married life.

Kelce is in the middle of his 14th year in the NFL. After contemplating retirement in the offseason, he opted to return after signing a three-year contract.

The Chiefs are coming off two losses in a row. They started the season 5-0 before losing to the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos in back-to-back games.

Kelce has had a good season so far. He has caught 29 passes for 410 yards and two touchdowns. If he keeps up this pace, he will finish the season with 996 yards and five touchdowns. That would be his best season since 2023.

The Chiefs next play the New York Jets, who are coming off a devastating loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. They then play the Atlanta Falcons and the Arizona Cardinals.
