The Kansas City Chiefs recently saw their offense get completely shut down in a road loss to the Seattle Seahawks. The loss exposed the Chiefs' glaring need for help in the wide receiver department, as the team doesn't exactly have a ton of options for Patrick Mahomes to get the ball to, and many expect that Kansas City will swing a trade for a new receiver at some point in the coming weeks.

However, the Chiefs aren't the only team that could be on the lookout for wide receiver help this season.

Recently, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN broke down some big names who could be on the market, including Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr.

“…teams are circling with interest. Kansas City and Pittsburgh are among those exploring receiver help,” he wrote about Thomas.

He also reported on Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jauan Jennings.

“Jennings, who's on a one-year deal, could prove a low-cost option for teams looking to add to their receiver room. The 49ers are an obvious fit,” he wrote.

Jennings previously played for the 49ers and seemingly wouldn't have a difficult time slipping back into their system under head coach Kyle Shanahan.

Some fans have floated the idea of a Chiefs reunion with former standout wide receiver Tyreek Hill, although it remains to be seen how much the veteran has left in the tank as he works his way back from a brutal leg injury suffered last year, when he was a member of the Miami Dolphins.

In any case, the Chiefs will next hit the field on Sunday for a tough road game against the divisional rival Denver Broncos.
