The NFL is expected to suspend Rams left tackle Alaric Jackson for two games for a postgame punch Monday night. But Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the league has yet to notify the team and the NFLPA.
Jackson threw a right hook to Bills linebacker Bradley Chubb after the Rams’ 37-34 overtime loss.
Jackson will miss games against the Cardinals and Raiders unless he appeals and wins.
ESPN’s cameras caught Jackson exchanging jerseys with Bills defensive lineman Deone Walker at midfield when Chubb appeared to say something to Jackson. Jackson punched Chubb in the face with his right hand before Rams tight end Colby Parkinson pulled Jackson away.
Chubb called it “just emotions” after the game.
Jackson has started all five games this season and missed only one game last season.
