With the Buffalo Bills defeating the Los Angeles Rams in a Monday Night Football shootout, 37-34, there's no denying that the win overshadowed what could've been a heartbreaking loss due to a late James Cook fumble. As Cook contributed a turnover in overtime for the Bills, which gave the Rams a chance to win the game, a blocked field goal by Buffalo would put the ball in the hands of the team to ultimately come away as victors.
However, the latest comment from Buffalo head coach Joe Brady on Cook will have fans and fantasy football managers of the star running back worried. Fumbling twice on Monday, Brady would speak on how the turnovers are “negating all of the positives,” and that at some point, there has to be “consequences,” which could mean fewer carries.
“We're putting the ball on the ground, and it's negating all of the positives,” Brady said, via Jonathan Acosta.
