Matt Rhule aired out his frustrations that his Nebraska Cornhuskers squad couldn't pull off the upset over the reigning national champions Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday afternoon.

Rhule has been the Cornhuskers' head coach since 2023, going through his fourth season with the program. He has seen positive growth from the team, securing back-to-back years of bowl eligibility in 2024 and 2025. Not only does he look to extend that streak, but he also hopes to lead them to a 10-win campaign.

Nebraska is halfway there with five wins to their name as they reach the midpoint of the season. However, their perfect start came to an end after losing to the No. 7 Hoosiers in Week 6. Rhule reflected on the loss after the game, not holding back his thoughts about the team executing better down the stretch.

“I'm really upset. Angry that we didn't win the game. But I'm not in any way embarrassed by our guys. We just have to do a couple things better because that's the national champions,” Rhule said, per reporter Kevin Sjuts.
