Jayden Daniels' elbow is a major concern for the Washington Commanders. The former Heisman winner dislocated his elbow last season, forcing him out of action for three games. Upon his return, he reinjured his elbow and missed the final four games of the season.

Then, in Week 2 of the 2026-27 season, Daniels again dislocated his elbow. The QB missed two straight weeks before returning for the matchup against the New York Giants. While the persistent issue has been on his non-throwing arm, it is incredibly worrisome that a QB who so often puts his body on the line keeps injuring himself in the same way.

However, Daniels' legs are in great shape, and he has shown that in his return from injury. Daniels has 87 rushing yards through just over three quarters of action, including a 38-yard touchdown score. He punched the ball into the end zone using his legs a second time in the fourth quarter, too.
