The Texans got a win on Sunday, and then they got a new receiver.

Via multiple reports, the Cardinals have agreed to trade receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. to the Texans.

Arizona will get a second-round pick in 2027 and a sixth-round pick in 2027. The Texans get Harrison and a seventh-round pick in 2027.

The Texans were always the team that was most closely linked to Harrison. It was believed that the Cardinals waited to do the deal in an effort to get a little more for him.

And it’s possible that the Texans finally got it done in order to prevent another team swooping from in, in the event of an injury over the balance of the Week 5 games.

One sticking point was whether the Texans would send a 2027 second-round pick to Arizona, or a 2028 second-round pick. In the end, the Texans yielded on that issue.

Either way, Harrison will now join the Texans, who got their first win of the season against the Titans on Sunday.
