Canadian rapper and longtime WWE superfan Drake has now made an official collaboration with the promotion. After years of WWE collaborating with Weeknd for their WrestleMania theme songs, the promotion has now joined forces with Drake.

Shawn Michaels recently announced that ‘Shabang” by Drake has been selected as the new official theme song of WWE NXT. This song will now replace the previous theme, “Millions From Now” by Lil Wayne & 2 Chainz. “Shabang” was one of the tracks off Drake’s ICEMAN album.

Drake is a noted WWE superfan. The rapper attended WWE Elimination Chamber 2025, where Cena made his infamous heel turn after winning the Elimination Chamber match. Drake was in attendance when Cena turned heel and joined forces with The Rock and Travis Scott.

Nobody does it quite like this crew.

Ever since Vince McMahon resigned and TKO tookover WWE, fans have witnessed a major influx of celebrities into the programming. A few months ago, a report from Fightful Select reported that the trend of featuring celebrities in storylines and angles is expected to continue.

The report claimed that, while Fightful Select was informed about celebrity crossovers slowing down after WrestleMania season, there still remained plans to incorporate celebrities into WWE programming. However, despite the rumors, no specific names were mentioned regarding the appearances. NFL legend Tom Brady was also once rumored to be a part of WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas; however, he did not appear. In the past few months, several celebrities have appeared in WWE, including Travis Scott, Jelly Roll, and Lil Yachty, who has now become a regular part of WWE programming.
