Week 4 has arrived, and fantasy football managers still searching for help at wide receiver have several compelling last-minute options. Injuries and changing roles have created additional opportunities around the league. A few receivers are simply demanding more attention after strong starts to the 2026 season. Whether managers need a reliable flex option or are chasing upside from a potential breakout, several receivers deserve serious consideration before Week 4 lineups lock.

Josh Downs is trending in the right direction. Downs caught five of 11 targets for 77 yards in Indianapolis' 19-17 victory over Houston. He led the Colts in both receiving yards and targets. While converting only five of those 11 opportunities leaves room for improvement, the more important number for fantasy purposes is the target volume. Eleven targets are difficult to ignore, especially considering the situation developing in Indianapolis.

With Alec Pierce on injured reserve, Downs should continue receiving plenty of opportunities from Daniel Jones. Downs has already demonstrated that the volume is available. If he can turn a higher percentage of those targets into receptions, his fantasy ceiling could rise significantly.

Indianapolis travels to face Washington in Week 4. This gives Downs another opportunity to build on his 77-yard performance.

Rashee Rice, KC (@ LV)

Rice caught seven of his team-high nine targets for 88 yards in Kansas City's 24-10 Week 3 victory over the Miami Dolphins. He has now surpassed 80 receiving yards in each of his past two games.

Leading Kansas City with nine targets illustrates how significant Rice's role has become. He has developed into one of the more dynamic pass-catching options in the offense. That gives fantasy managers the combination they want from a streamer: targets, yardage, and attachment to a productive passing game.

Rice now gets a Week 4 road matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders. If the targets remain consistent, Rice has the opportunity to produce another strong performance.

DJ Moore, BUF (vs. NE)

DJ Moore enters Week 4 with both a significant role and some encouraging late-week injury news.

Moore caught six of 10 targets for 67 yards in Buffalo's 24-16 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers. He has now surpassed 65 receiving yards in two of the Bills' first three games. The 10 targets are particularly encouraging. Playing alongside Josh Allen gives Moore access to one of the league's most dangerous quarterbacks. Consistent double-digit target opportunities could make him an especially valuable fantasy asset.

There was some concern about Moore's availability after a shoulder issue limited him at practice again Thursday. However, Moore is off the injury report and officially good to go for Sunday's game against New England. Moore profiles as a WR2 against a Patriots defense that will be without Christian Gonzalez.

Michael Wilson, ARI (@ NYG)

Michael Wilson may offer the most fascinating combination of volume and breakout potential among this week's streaming candidates. Wilson caught 11 of an enormous 17 targets for 89 yards and a touchdown in Arizona's 36-30 loss to San Francisco. It was easily his biggest performance of the young season and came after Wilson signed a contract extension during the offseason.

Wilson heads into Week 4 against the New York Giants carrying WR3 appeal. Managers shouldn't automatically expect another 17-target outing. However, even a moderate reduction in volume could still leave him with enough opportunities to produce useful fantasy numbers.

Week 4 Outlook

Downs, Rice, Moore, and Wilson all present compelling cases. Their fantasy values comes from different sources. Downs benefits from an opportunity created by Pierce's absence. Rice is building momentum within Kansas City's passing attack. Moore combines significant target volume with the upside of catching passes from Allen. Wilson is coming off an eye-opening 17-target performance.

All four receivers have demonstrated meaningful involvement in their respective passing attacks. That gives each a realistic path toward Week 4 production.
