Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty will play in Sunday’s game against the Bills, coach Klint Kubiak said Wednesday.

A report earlier in the day indicated the Raiders are considering sitting Jeanty to let his ankle and foot injuries fully heal. Kubiak disputed that.

“He’s playing,” Kubiak said, via Sam Warren of TheAthletic.com.

Jeanty injured his ankle in training camp, and he had the foot injury added to the Week 5 report. He was limited last Thursday and did not practice last Friday.

A game-time decision, Jeanty played 32 of 60 snaps and had 10 carries for 27 yards and three catches for 50 yards.

“He’s starting to feel a lot better physically,” Kubiak said. “I’m excited about giving him even more reps in practice and more full-speed reps.”

Jeanty has 88 carries for 291 yards and 22 catches for 215 yards and two touchdowns.
