The Bills quarterback enjoyed a relaxing getaway with his wife, Hailee Steinfeld, and their daughter, Harper. For Allen, the break provided an opportunity to focus on what matters most to him beyond the football field.

“Got out, little beach somewhere, hung out with my family. Pretty perfect,” Allen said of his time off. “It’s the best. My favorite thing to do, see my daughter grow with my wife. Coolest thing ever.”

Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld welcomed their first child together this offseason, marking a new chapter in their lives. Since becoming a father, the 30-year-old quarterback has embraced the experience of watching his daughter grow and reach new milestones.

During his first bye week as a father, Allen spent less time watching football and more time keeping up with his daughter.

“I watched a little bit on Sunday, not as much as I used to,” he said, explaining that he was busy with “dad duty” and following Harper around.

Allen has previously discussed how fatherhood has made him more affectionate and emotional. During an earlier conversation with Fox Sports reporter Erin Andrews, he reflected on how watching his daughter discover the world has changed his perspective.

“As a man, you have a daughter, it does make you a little softer. It makes you a little more affectionate. I’m more emotional, and I don’t think that’s a bad thing,” Allen said.

For the Bills quarterback, the bye week offered a welcome break from the demands of the NFL and the pressure and responsibilities that come with being the team’s franchise quarterback, giving him a chance to appreciate the moments he values most with his growing family.
