The New York Jets suffered another brutal loss in Week 8. New York dropped a close game with Las Vegas 38-33 in front of their home crowd. The NFL trade deadline is coming up, which has many fans and analysts wondering if the Jets will become sellers at the deadline. Especially after last season's shocking moves at the deadline.

Jets head coach Aaron Glenn shut down the idea of trading Breece Hall at the deadline in a recent interview.

“Breece is still a part of this team,” Glenn said on Monday, per The Athletic's Zack Rosenblatt. “I've said it before: We're in the business of keeping good players and he's one of our better players so he'll be here.”

NFL insider Ian Rapoport gave an update of his own on Hall's status following Week 8.

“First of all, the health situation. Breece Hall has missed the last several games with a quad injury. My understanding is he is now good to go and should play next week,” Rapoport said on Monday via Good Morning Football. “Is he the subject of trade calls I think is probably what you're asking me. The New York Jets have no plans to trade some of their big-time players. Garrett Wilson, I know that is one of them. I know last year was a bit of a fire sale, they were basically the Colts. I don't see that happening here. The reason Breece Hall is an interesting name is because Braelon Allen has really come to the forefront and established himself as a starting running back. I don't know what is going to happen to Breece Hall, but I would imagine a team or two would call and just say how interested are you. Especially because, in his absence, the Jets have established depth and a lot more.”

Allen looked great on Sunday, logging 21 carries for 147 rushing yards and a touchdown. If the Jets do change their minds and trade Hall, they should be just fine.
