“Bold City” shook up “Charm City” on Thursday Night Football. The Jacksonville Jaguars forced the Baltimore Ravens to chuck a tablet and hit new franchise lows in the 33-10 rout. But in the process, coach Liam Coen, quarterback Trevor Lawrence and company just put the NFL on notice.

Even in a loaded AFC, the Jags are the new team to beat for these reasons.

Bold statement to make, considering how Lawrence has established himself as a Pro Bowler. But few quarterbacks have created a tear like he has.

“T-Law” hasn't delivered a multiple interception game in his last eight contests. He's also thrown eight touchdowns compared to one pick in his last three games.

Furthermore, the Jaguars have gone 14-3 in their last 17 games with Lawrence behind center. And during that time, he's thrown two or three picks in only two of those contests.

Lawrence currently has thrown 17 touchdowns compared to four aerial takeaways during this start. Coen has unlocked him even further thanks to this pre-snap motion heavy offense featuring play actions and bootlegs, the latter taking advantage of Lawrence's mobility.

Not just limited to a more resurgent Lawrence either.

Wide receiver Parker Washington is averaging 16 yards a catch and leads with four receiving touchdowns. Jakobi Myers has become resurgent in averaging a career-best 14 yards a reception. Then there's leading receiver at tight end in Brenton Strange, who's also hitting a new personal best with 11.9 yards a catch.

All three have surpassed 20 receptions and benefitting from the Los Angeles Rams style attack Coen brought to Duval County. But there's one more fast riser here in running back Bhayshul Tuten. The 2025 fourth rounder owns a combined six touchdowns and has racked up 673 total yards.

Oh, Jacksonville and Coen are starting to involve Travis Hunter both ways too after finally becoming convinced to increase his snaps. But Coen's offense has tallied an astonishing 702 total points through 25 games together.

Hunter is one with two picks on the season to go along with six pass breakups. Fellow cornerback Jourdan Lewis has grabbed two picks too.

Linebacker Foyesade Oluokun adds to the pick party too with his couple of takeaways. But the Jags features nine different defenders who have broken up two to six throws. That includes safety Rayuan Lane III with his four PBUs.

“Bold City” has created a no fly zone under defensive coordinator Anthony Campanile. This will mean names like Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs, Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills, even Aaron Rodgers of the Pittsburgh Steelers have a loaded pass defense to deal with should one of them face the Jaguars.
