With the expectation that more of a workload will be on Charlotte Hornets star Kon Knueppel after the LaMelo Ball trade, the rookie standout from last season will have to wait longer to start his sophomore year in the NBA. As Knueppel looks to improve with the Hornets in his second season in the league, an injury will hold him back from starting the year.
Announced by the team through a press release and on their social media accounts, Charlotte's three-point specialist has sustained a right hamstring injury “during offseason on-court activity.” Knueppel is set to miss the entire preseason and will be “re-evaluated during the first week of the regular season.”
