New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers addressed concerns about his knee Thursday after missing practice ahead of Sunday’s Week 9 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Nabers did not appear on Wednesday’s injury report, adding a new concern as the Giants prepare for the divisional road matchup.

He worked on the side with a trainer at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center. An initial practice report listed a question mark beside the receiver’s name rather than identifying an injury. The subsequent injury report designated Nabers as a nonparticipant because of his knee.

Thursday marked the Giants’ third of four practices before their trip to Philadelphia, leaving one session before the team issues game designations for Sunday’s divisional matchup.

ESPN’s Jordan Raanan shared Nabers’ response Thursday on X, formerly Twitter, adding the receiver’s brief assessment to his earlier practice report.

“I'll be good.”

The update came on the same day Nabers received NFC Offensive Player of the Month honors for October. He earned the award after recording four consecutive 100-yard games, establishing his importance to New York’s passing attack.

The Giants enter the matchup at 4-2-1, while the Eagles sit at 2-6. Despite Philadelphia’s struggles this season, the venue presents a longstanding challenge for New York. The Giants have lost 12 consecutive games at Lincoln Financial Field and have not won there since 2013.

Nabers is a little over a year removed from the ACL and meniscus tears he suffered in Week 4 of the 2025 season. The available information does not establish whether the current issue relates to those injuries or specify its severity.

His personal assessment also differs from an official clearance to play.

Sunday’s game kicks off at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT. Nabers has expressed confidence about his availability, while the Giants will provide their official game designation Friday.
