The Georgia football program is currently scrambling for answers following its puzzling loss at home to the unranked Auburn Tigers on Saturday. Gunner Stockton turned in arguably his worst performance as the team's starter in this one, throwing multiple interceptions and committing a costly fumble late, just as Georgia was driving to try to win the game.

Earlier in the game, Stockton had exited briefly after taking a blow to the head, and now, the team has gotten the latest update on his status moving forward.

“Georgia QB Gunner Stockton said to be showing no concussion symptoms after Auburn loss,” reported Marc Weiszer of the Athens Banner-Herald on X, formerly Twitter.

Some fans joked in poor taste that Stockton seemed to be showing concussion symptoms during the game itself on Saturday, tossing several wildly inaccurate throws and overall looking like a shell of his usual self against an upset-minded Tigers team.

The good news for the Bulldogs was that several teams around them in the rankings also fell on Saturday in upset fashion, meaning that Georgia only dropped to number five in this week's AP Poll, not that Kirby Smart is likely to be putting too much stock into that at this point in the season.

Further helping things out is that Georgia is headed for a bye week, as the team certainly looked like it could use some time off as it fell apart down the stretch against Auburn.

However, they'll have to regroup in time to face the Florida Gators on Halloween, a team that pulled off an upset of its own on Saturday against the Texas Longhorns.

Kickoff for that game is set for 3:30 pm ET.
