Earlier this week, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni told reporters that he was pleased with the play of offensive lineman Cam Jurgens.
But now, Jurgens is headed elsewhere.
Jurgens has been traded to the Ravens, the team announced on Wednesday.
Baltimore will receive Jurgens and a 2027 seventh-round pick in exchange for a 2027 fifth-round pick and a 2028 second-round pick.
“We are excited to acquire a two-time Pro Bowl center, Cam Jurgens, from the Eagles in a trade,” Ravens General Manager Eric DeCosta said in a statement. “Cam is a player we have long admired going all the way back to the draft process. He’s a young foundational piece along our offensive line - a great scheme and cultural fit who will contribute quickly in Baltimore. We are confident that Cam will significantly impact our team and community.”
Baltimore has had several injury issues on the interior of the offensive line, which Jurgens should be able to help solve.
But Jurgens is currently in concussion protocol.
The Ravens will play the Falcons on Sunday night this week.
