The Houston Texans have stumbled hard out of the gate to open up the 2026 NFL season, currently sitting as one of the last remaining winless teams at 0-4. While the Texans have been competitive in three out of the four losses, that's hardly solace for a team that fancied itself a Super Bowl contender heading into this year.
Now, the Texans have gotten a key injury update on a talented wide receiver who has been out of the lineup for over a year.
“The #Texans have designated WR Tank Dell to return from IR. A huge day for Dell, who tore his ACL, LCL and MCL, dislocated his knee and suffered meniscus damage in a catastrophic injury in 2024. He has worked his way all the way back,” reported NFL insider Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team on X, formerly Twitter.
As Meirov noted, Dell suffered a disastrous injury during the 2024 season that caused him to miss all of last year and the first several games of the current 2026 season, causing some to wonder if he would ever be able to take the field again.
