After the Colorado football team lost to the Texas Tech Red Raiders on Oct. 3, the program has been enjoying a bye week with the hope that it could bounce back this Saturday against the Utah Utes. However, a major talking point around the Colorado football program has been the playbook that was found and leaked on the internet, which head coach Deion Sanders seemingly confirmed.
Sanders would question if the entire playbook was leaked, turning attention to how the opening game script was leaked, as he would say, “that happens sometimes.” Undermining the leak, Sanders made sure to mention how the Buffaloes scored on the first drive, so “I guess it didn't work.”

As it ended up being the only points of the game for Colorado, Sanders would also be asked if there is going to be an investigation into the leak, but the coach would downplay any further action.
“Why would we? It’s over. Game’s over,” Sanders said to the media. “Why would we do that? We probably know a lot more than you think we do. But a whole playbook? Come on, man.”
“If someone had left that, they left it. Mistake,” Sanders continued. “What [are] we going to do about it? It’s over. Let’s go, let’s go, let’s go. Like, we could have the opposing team’s first 10 or 15 plays, but we still gotta stop it.”

“As the opposing coach, if somebody called us and said, ‘Hey, Utah left the play script of the first 20 plays, I wouldn’t believe that. Like, ain’t no way. And then, you gotta match it up, and then they score on the first drive? Don’t make sense to me,” Sanders said.
At any rate, Sanders and the Buffaloes look to move on and prepare for the No. 11 Utah Utes on Saturday night as Colorado currently has a 2-3 record.
