The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be facing the Chicago Bears this week, and they could be getting some key players back for the matchup. Emeka Egbuka has missed the last two games with a foot injury, and the good news is that he was back at practice this week, according to Greg Auman of Fox Sports.

“Bucs WR Emeka Egbuka is back at practice today and testing his injured foot. Was running full speed on the side Wednesday. Elijah Roberts is back after a personal day Wednesday. Yaya Diaby working on the side with trainers with a brace on his injured knee,” Auman wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

That's good news for the offense that Egbuka is back on the field, and he gives Baker Mayfield another option to throw the ball to. Luckily for the Buccaneers, Mayfield didn't have to complete a pass last week against the Atlanta Falcons, and they were still able to win the game. It was Bucky Irving and Kenneth Gainwell who led the way for the Buccaneers, and they won 16-0.

As for the passing game, there hasn't been much consistency there for the team this season, probably because of Mayfield missing time. Egbuka struggled to get involved earlier in the year, but in his past few games, he's been able to get in the end zone.

The Buccaneers are currently 3-5, and they're still in the race for the top spot in the NFC South. The Falcons have the same record as them, and the Carolina Panthers are still No. 1 in the division with a 3-4 record. It looks like it could be anybody's division for the taking once again this season, and the Buccaneers are ready to make a run.

If they can get healthy, they'll definitely have a good chance at winning more games as the season continues.
