The Kansas City Chiefs may have found the missing piece to take their offense back to another level.
Former NFL head coach Bruce Arians believes the Chiefs could once again be the best team in the NFL, and he has especially liked what he's seen from new running back Kenneth Walker III.
“I love where the Chiefs are. I thought Kenneth Walker was the biggest get in the entire offseason. That running game they got with Patrick (Mahomes) is dynamic,” Arians said.

Walker has done nothing but impress since arriving in Kansas City, giving the Chiefs a legitimate threat in both the running and passing game.
That is exactly what Patrick Mahomes needs. For years, Mahomes has been capable of carrying the Chiefs when the offense needs him to. However, asking a quarterback to consistently play hero ball is hardly an ideal formula for sustained success. Just because they have succeeded in the past does not mean they will in the future.
Article Continues BelowWith Walker making an immediate impact, Mahomes playing at his usual high level, and Travis Kelce still producing, the Chiefs' offense suddenly looks extremely difficult to slow down. Kansas City continues to get strong production from Kelce, who is showing that he still has plenty left in the tank despite being in the latter stages of his career.
That is another reason why Walker is so valuable. The 25-year-old Super Bowl-winning MVP not only gives Andy Reid a superstar at the position, but also a young presence who could thrive for years to come.
This is only the beginning of the Walker era in Kansas City.
